Education software vendor furthers its comprehensive offering by creating a donor management tool.

Solution

BDC worked with the RenWeb team to gather requirements and implement a new donor management tool created to be independent of the school management software, yet loosely integrated via a synchronization process. RenWeb Donor Connect was born! Donor Connect is a software-plus-services application, maintaining links to the master school database. Data can be synchronized at the touch of a button whenever needed, helping fundraisers at the school keep a higher quality set of data on hand. The system has a full-featured set of donor record, gift and pledge management functions as well as powerful reporting facilities. Optionally, users may work more quickly with donor records locally, in “local mode”, before publishing updates to the Internet server. This is useful if there are a greater number of records to manage.

Results

BDC’s experience as a system integrator and custom developer worked to create a unique solution. We work with in-house RenWeb support staff on a regular basis to ensure quality and to assist new customers in the transition to Donor Connect. BDC has been a key part of the development cycle for Donor Connect since 2003. The customer base for Donor Connect is growing fast, tapping the user base for RenWeb and making RenWeb a more comprehensive and compelling choice for total school management.
