BDC Time is an innovative new time and project management tool
for busy professionals.
If you are like me, you multi-task throughout the day, deal with interruptions continually
and generally are too busy to worry about where every 15-minute slice of your day
goes. However, you also know that if your time were tracked more efficiently

General
Features
- Can put timer on any computer. (Just need
internet access to use)
- Clock in and out via a tray icon that sits conveniently in your Windows taskbar.
- No need to keep some browser window open in order to stay clocked in to a
job.
- Data is stored on our central server for easy access for remote workers as well
as office workers.
- Encrypted login information saved, allowing
you to not have to retype.
- Written completely in Microsoft .NET version 2.0.
- Database is Microsoft SQL Server 2005 for maximum reliability and scalability.

Tray Icon
- Access the time clocking features easily
through the tray icon. 2-clicks clocks
you in and 2-clicks clocks you out.
- Back tracking time is available via adjustment
plus/minus buttons.
- Access to SharePoint content.
Daily View
- Easily find out what times you have worked
today or any other day.
- Easily update job and time details.
- Easily add a new job through the form provided.
Project
Management
- BDC Time uses a 4-layer system for managing projects,
including:
- Client – this is a person or company that you
do business with directly
-
Account – this is a level under Client that
is usually a department or customer of your Client
- Project – this is a project that you have for
a particular account

Job – this is the most basic work unit that
you are actually performing under a particular project.
SharePoint
- Communication is made easy through integration
with Windows SharePoint Services portal websites (WSS).
- Each project can have its own SharePoint
site which is created on-the-fly when you set up the project.
- Project Jobs can also be loaded onto the SharePoint site.
- Use SharePoint calendars, document repositories, and contact lists to facilitate collaboration
